A Catholic education is a priceless gift to give to your child. At Wauwatosa Catholic School you will find a challenging curriculum, dedicated teachers and staff and a family-like community. Not only is the Catholic faith practiced through religious instruction and Mass, it is also integrated into all subjects, in the hallways, in the lunch room and on the playground.

Why Catholic Education?

Wauwatosa Catholic School offers K3 (2, 3 or 5 day options), K4 (AM, PM, or full day), K5 (full day only) in addition to grades 1-8. Our dedicated teachers are certified and experienced, and work in cooperation with parents to ensure a caring community in which all students develop academically, spiritually, and socially.

Our students grow in their Catholic faith through classroom prayer and religious instruction, as well as weekly all-school Masses. Students in grades K4 - 8 attend Mass with their Mass buddies (students in upper grades pair up with younger students). Throughout the year, students participate in many special prayer experiences: Stations of the Cross, Advent and Lent activities, Jesse Tree, All School Christmas concert and service projects to benefit the community.

New Family Mentor Program

Welcoming new families is a priority to us. We have a couple ways that we hope will help make for a smooth transition to Wauwatosa Catholic School (WCS).

  1. Each new family is matched up with a current or “mentor” family. Shortly after enrolling new families will be contacted by an existing school family "mentor family" who can fill you in on what goes on at the beginning of the school year, answer your questions, and help you navigate through the year.
  2. The Home and School Association sponsors a new family picnic in August before schiool starts. This is a wonderful way for new and existing school families to get to know each other and children get to meet someone from their class.
